This New Year’s Eve celebration is guaranteed to deliver!
Held in Festival Park, Downtown Fayetteville – Thursday, December 31st, 2009
6:30 PM to 12:30 AM.
Bring in the New Year with live performances by everyone’s favorite party bands, Nantucket & Hot Sauce on the Bud Light Stage. The stage will be hosted by DJ Mark Lynch and includes a live feed from Times Square.
Don’t miss your opportunity to sample and vote for some of Fayetteville’s finest Chili and Wings during the Dogwood Festival’s Chili and Wing Cook-off that will be held in the back of the park. Sampling cards can be purchased for $5.00. Additional food vendors will be available for those not interested in sampling Chili or Wings.
This family focused event will also have a children’s area hosted by The Partnership For Children, that includes craft activities, inflatable fun (weather provided), an early New Year countdown at 8:45 with a firework show for the little ones that can’t make it till midnight. This area proves to be fun for all ages!
We will have beer, champagne and some pre-mixed beverages for celebrating!
At stroke of midnight we will drop or “bloom” a dogwood, have a huge firework finale and ring in 2010 in style!
Bring your chairs & blankets and join us for this FREE inaugural event that we hope to bloom into another Fayetteville Favorite!
